The Seattle Astronomical Society club holds public observing "Star Parties" at Green Lake every month. Various astronomical instruments will be on hand that people can look through to see whatever is in the sky that night.Dates:
Occurs on the Saturday closest to the first quarter moon
Seattle weather permitting. If it's raining, or completely cloudy, don't come. (Wear warm clothes, as it can get chilly.)
