"This exhibition commemorates 20 years of training, art making and instruction that have made Gage Academy of Art the award-winning institution it is today."
This stand-up comedy show benefits different non-profits each week. The non-profits take home 50 percent of door sales and any donations they receive during the performance.
"...PSMS is an organization of people interested in mushrooms and mushrooming, which provides support and encouragement for research, education, cultivation, hunting, identifying, and cooking mushrooms..." -- The Puget Sound Mycological Society
The Seattle Poetry Slam is a weekly poetry extravaganza. The show usually consists of music, an open mike, and a featured poet followed by the "slam." A slam is a competition of performance poets that is judged by randomly picked members of the audience. The poets who win the slams get cash prizes, and a chance to compete on the team that represents Seattle in the National Poetry Slam against teams from across the nation and Canada.
Stammtisch (?tam ti?) noun :Table reserved for regular guests.
If you have an interest in practicing your German speaking, or listening, skills this group meets weekly. Topics range from local events to politics to literature to movies, and anything in between.
"Come dance to great DJ'd blues music. There is an open lesson for beginners and intermediates at 8pm, and dancing starts at 9pm. Waid's place is also a great bar, and it's nice to enjoy the atmosphere and watch the dancers too."
